Hello nail art lovers!

I have been experimenting lately with layering nail colors and I want to show you the result of my latest attempt. This is a saran wrap nail design featuring Zoya Arabella as a base and China Glaze What a Pansy as a layered color. I used the saran wrap technique to create the nail design below.

The Saran Wrap technique
The saran wrap nail technique is super fast and simple and I use it a lot to rescue nail color when it already has some flaws but I do not have time for a full manicure. In this case I already had Zoya Arabella with a top coat for several days on. I have to admit I am impressed with this nail polish durability as it had only a few chips after I had made 22 pizzas (yes, twenty-two!).

To achieve the saran wrap nail effect you only need to add an opaque layer of color over your chosen base and then use a small saran wrap ball to lift up some of the second color by touching it while it is still wet.

I added Essie Good to Go fast drying top coat to speed the drying process up and to make the nail design more blend well and shine.

This was my saran wrap experiment and I love the result. Have you tried this technique, what do you think of it?
Thanks for reading, I hope you enjoyed!
