Hello lovelies!

Today I have for you a cute and super lazy Christmas tree nail idea. I love the nude base with neon glitter formula of Yes Love G1-5 glitter nail polish I reviewed below. I thought it would be fun if I added a Christmas tree on white base. I used striping tape to outline the tree and added a golden stud on top to embellish it.

Yes Love G1-5 neon glitter nail polish review
A few words regarding this Yes Love nail polish characteristics. This formula is a beautiful peachy nude base packed with different sized neon particles. The formula is rather sheer on two coats so for these nails I got full coverage in three layers. You get a lot of neon particles in this nail polish so you will not have to struggle to get any on your nails. The formula lasts for 4 days with top coat. It is difficult to remove so I suggest using the kitchen foil method to take all glitter off without rubbing and damaging your nail base.

You can get nail polishes from this range online, packed in 6 for a fair price. They are fun to wear, I have 6 and enjoy each of them :)

Hello nail art lovers!

Today I want to show you this dark nail design with neon accent. I have seen similar designs around the internet and thought I might give this idea a try.

To get the design simply pain your nails a bright neon color and wait to dry. Then add striping tape and cover with black.

My top coat smudged a bit of black on my neon lines so I am not sure I would recommend adding a top coat unless you are 100% sure it won\t ruin details.

Hello nail art lovers!

I have a crazy neon detailed manicure for you today. Fast and easy to make, the only fuss about it being some striping tape for the ring finger stripes.

Here is how to make it.

First, paint your nails white
I painted all my nails white because neon colors pop best on a white base.

Then, add neon details
Dots I used two neon colors for this nail design – yellow and pink. Randomly add tiny neon dots to your white nails, leaving the ring fingers. Then add some black dots to fully match the color scheme of this design.

Stripes Roughly divide your ring fingers in two halves, painting one a yellow neon shade and the other a pink neon shade. Do not worry to make ot perfect, you will be covering them black all over :)

Add 4 parallel striping tape pieces to your ring fingers and paint them black. Remove the striping tape to reveal neon stripes

Voila! You have crazy neon nail design. Add some top coat of you wish but have in mind that it will make your neon look a bit less bright.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you enjoyed!

Hello lovelies!

So excited for this post today! I recently ordered a number of Dance Legend nail polishes and they were finally in the nail mail last week!

Dance Legend is a Russian professional nail lacquer brand with a huge range of colors, their effects nail polishes being most impressive. Unfortunately, they have poor distribution outside Russia so instead of consenting to the limited shade  availability in the few UK brand retailers, I got my package shipped directly from Russia :) I got some amazing formulas I will be showing you later but today I want to present my Dance Legend RIO collection nail polish.

Color
Dance Legend RIO nail polish collection is all about bright neon glitter. I got RIO #5 which is a clear base packed with three bright colors of glitter: green, pink and blue. Glitter of this formula has different size and shape in all three colors, so you get tiny dots, even larger hex and square shapes and star shaped parts. All this is a neon tropical party in a bottle, I love the RIO #5 approach to glitter!

I wore RIO #5 over white and really enjoyed this combination. I love how you can get a different effect depending on the base color you use and also depending on the colors you pear this polish with. I swatched it with different colors to give you some ideas how to pair it and never get bored.

Formula and application
RIO #5 clear base is densely packed with glitter and simply gives your neon shapes a way to stick to nails. Formula dries semi matte and if you want full shine effect I suggest adding a top coat. Base darkens a tiny bit, you can tell this when you use this color over white but I do not think it is visible to the casual eye :)

Glitter sticks to nails easily and I love how you can manipulate it for a neon full impact neon glitter nail to a less busy look depending on how much glitter you get on. I found the star shaped parts a bit tricky, their outmost ends tend to stick out and start clinging to your clothes and hair so I suggest to place the stars at the center of your nail where there is enough flat space for them to stick properly.

Wear
RIO #5 basically wears as long as your base color does.It is easy to remove and super fun to wear.

I wish Dance Legend nail polishes were available and easy to get in Europe and hope to see them around more soon.

Hello nail art lovers!

I have a quick nail design for you today. It features roses water decals and a neon color from China Glaze. Check my tutorial how to apply water decals if you have missed it.

China Glaze Sun of a Peach with water decals nail design

The base color for this manicure is China Glaze Sun of a Peach. It is an orange neon released in summer 2013 and I have already swatched it in a previous post. I have already ranted about it’s awful formula and about how difficult it is to get even coverage. For this nail design I needed 5 thin layers of Sun of a Peach and then a top coat to help smooth the color out. The top coat steals away from its semi matte finish but truly, I don’t mind :)

Here is a closer look to the water decal pattern. I love flowers on nails and have featured some water decal bouquets in two of my wedding manicure ideas.

You know I plan my nail polish purchases and do a good research before I buy new nail polish. I have already told you why in my How to build nail polish wish list for the upcoming season post. So these 6 beauties were planned to be my spring to summer 2014 nail colors. I know I will probably get a few more shades but this is my educated choice for the moment :)

Somehow all my spring to summer colors turned out to be from China Glaze, I did not mean this but obviously their City Flourish collection really got to me! Here is a photo combining all the colors, you will find their names listed below.

China Gaze What a Pansy from City Flourish 2014 nail polish collection

China Glaze Sun of a Peach nail polish review
This one was released as a neon crème from the Sunsational summer 2013 collection. It is a gorgeous color which has everything I love in a summer color. You may look at it as a super bright orangey coral which brings tons of good mood and sunshine to nails. I had done my homework before I got this one and read the reviews out there. I read about its awful formula, how it is transparent, streaks and takes too much effort for opaque coverage but I decided to get it anyway. How hard could it be, right? Well, all negative things about Sun of a Peach formula you will read out there are true to the last word, sadly. Formula is thin, streaks, it is difficult to control and is definitely not a good choice for someone in a hurry as it needs at least 4 coats for a beautiful full coverage. The one positive thing is maybe that it does not take long to dry. I am sorry my experience did not prove the negative hype about this nail polish wrong but this is how things are. I still absolutely love the color though!

Color is super difficult to photograph and I suggest if you are considering China Glaze Sun of a Peach for your collection, see it in real first.

So this was my China Glaze haul, I promise to show you all colors soon. Did you get any City Flourish nail polishes yet? What’s in your wish list?
