Hello nail art lovers!

With spring around the corner I am in a cheerful mood, cheerful enough to pull off a yellow lace nail design :)

To get this nail art simply add a few dots of color to bare nails and stamp a lace pattern in black on top. I decided to paint my middle finger and thumb a solid yellow color using Orly Lemonade. The flowery lace pattern is from MoYou London Suki plate which I have already shown you in a blog post.

Hello lovelies!

I am still in love with stamped nail art and the design opportunities it gives. Today I will show you a blue dragon theme stamp on nude base and will also share my thoughts on MoYou London Suki plate #7. So welcome back to my Stamping ABC post series where I learn and share about my newbie stamping nail art experience!

Nude Dragon theme stamped nail art
For this design I painted my nails nude using Zoya Chantal. You have seen my swatch and review in my Zoya Naturel nail polish collection post.

I find this opaque nude a great base for all kinds of stamp experiments. I wanted to try a stamp design with a different image on each nail so my Suki image plate was perfect for this. I used CND Midnight Sapphire nail polish to do the images. It is not a special stamping nail polish but I am happy how it worked. My top coat smudged some design parts a bit but again, it is also not a specially designed product for stamping so I could see that happen.

I love this design, it got a whole lot of attention and I could also test how some of my non stamping polishes work with stamping.

MoYou London Suki image plate #07
I have already raved about this image plate in my Stamping ABC post series intro post and now I have some more impressions to share.

MoYou London The Pro 03 stamping image plate

I am fairly impressed with the sole idea of this image plate design. It features several similar theme images overlaying and interacting with each other’s design. This image plate offers endless design options due to its design concept.

Suki #7 image plate is super easy to use, it has that plastic base which maes it easier to hold and manipulate. I have also used  it several times with regular nail color and it has worked beyond my expectations. It is easy to clean and its individuall package makes it easy to store too. I love this image plate by MoYou London and I would say it is a must have stamping product for every stamping nail art lover.

Hello nail art lovers!

So proud to show you my first multi color stamped nail art, even if on a single finger :) Welcome back to my Stamping ABC post series where I learn and share about my newbie stamping nail art experience!

This is basically a bright green allover color with a multi color zebra print on the ring finger. Stay with me to learn how I did it and what I found.

China Glaze Grass is Lime Greener

Multi color zebra nail art with China Glaze Grass Is Lime Greener

China Glaze Grass Is Lime Greener
This nail design uses as a base color China Glaze Grass is Lime Greener from the City Flourish nail polish collection. I must say it surprised me a bit by how bright and vibrant it goes, almost neon like. It is a popping green creme with a semi matte finish. It is very difficult to apply it evenly so I added a top coat to smooth color out.

Multi color zebra print stamped nails
I chose to transfer my zebra  print to a bare nail because I am using regular nail polish and thought it would stick better to a matte surface. I was right and the print turned out pretty well on a layer of matte nail polish base.

I loved how my multi color zebra stamp nail design turned out so I recreated it on all nails.

I used the zebra print from my MoYou London The Pro 07 image plate which I have already shown on the blog. I must admit I am surprised how well stamps come out with these image plates with regular nail polish, I promise to write more on how my MoYou London plates work for me in a later post. I applied four nail colors on the zebra image, all from China Glaze City Flourish collection: China Glaze At Vase Value, China Glaze Grass is Lime Greener, China Glaze Metro Pollen-tin and China Glaze Petal to the Metal. When I scraped them with the scraper they mixed a bit, leaving me with the perfect multi color zebra print :)

So this was pretty much it. I am enjoying my newbie stamping nail art experience and will keep showing you my stamped designs.

Hello nail art lovers!

I am excited to share with my latest stamped nail art, it is a snake skin with bizarre color :) Welcome back to my Stamping ABC post series where I learn and share about my newbie stamping nail art experience!

I think using this color combo makes the snake skin nails experience more chic and lady like. Here are my stamped snake skin nail art in daylight.

The base
For this manicure I used one truly loved but unfortunately discontinued nail polish. It is Rimmel London Hot List, a purplish taupe crème packed with very fine hot pink micro shimmer. Color looks dusty in daylight and more purple in artificial light. Chanel Paradoxal is the closest color I have came across to replace it. On that base I stamped MoYou Londnon snake skin from their The Pro image plates collection #3.

The stamp
I thought Hot List would pair great with a taupe cream color, so I chose Zoya Normani for my snae skin stamp. I was so pleasantly surprised it stamped great! I have already shown you Zoya Normani in my Zoya Naturel spring 2014 post.

I love how this nail design turned out! I had great fun recreating animal skin on nails using shades which are not typical for its natural coloring. I will certainly continue my experiment with strange color animal skin nail art and show you what turns out!

Hello nail art lovers!

Today I have a special post for you, a new post series I am very excited about but before I get to the point I need to share something with you first.

Many times, while looking for nail art inspiration online, I have seen these super clean, almost print like nail designs. I love freehand nail art but these manicures grew on me with their pinpoint precision and perfect detail. It turned out these were stamped nails!

Stamping ABC project
I know, you will be right to ask how could I have not paid attention to this whole new  nail design world before? Well, for some reason now I am absolutely new to stamping but also firmly determined to get into it. I decided to start stamping nail art post series where I will learn the art of stamping, show you my progress, products I use and comment things I have discovered. So welcome to Stamp ABC, my stamping nail art home school experience!

MoYou London stamping image plates
I did a huge research, mainly to get there is too much to learn, but also to make my tool choices before I start the Stamp ABC project. I kept getting back to MoYou London products as they immediately got me with intriguing deigns and super interesting image plates. I shared my stamping home school initiative with MoYou London and they sent me two image plates of my choice. So for my Stamp ABC project I will be working with two amazing ladies, meet Suki and The Pro.

MoYou London Suki 07 and The Pro 03 image plates

MoYou London Suki 07 and The Pro 03 image plates

Suki  is a massive image plate with a huge design which is created by combining separate designs. It comes in a beautiful individual case, attached to a plastic base and covered with a protection foil which needs to be removed prior to use. MoYou London Suki collection features several designs, the one I got is number 07.

The Pro is also a massive rectangular plate. This one features 16 individual designs. It comes individually packed but I already removed the protection foil. I was so eager to test these images out so excuse some nail polish residue on this one. Of the whole MoYou London The Pro collection I got plate number 03. Both plates measure 6x12cm.

You can check the whole MoYou London stamping plates range on their website: moyou.co.uk

The minute I got these image plates I stamped one of The Pro plate design in my ring finger and I must admit this was the easiest nail design I have done, ever. I had prepared for some mess and even failure which sometimes happens when you do something for the first time. Maybe this is the rookie luck helping me out, but the stamper picked out the design perfectly from the first try and then I transferred it to the nail with ease. I did not even use special stamping polish just because I do not own any yet and had read metallic colors could work.

I am amazed how I got a whole manicure done simply by combining OPI Solitaire with China Glaze At Vase Value on the ring finger + a leopard skin stamp!
