Hello nail art lovers!

With spring around the corner I am in a cheerful mood, cheerful enough to pull off a yellow lace nail design :)

To get this nail art simply add a few dots of color to bare nails and stamp a lace pattern in black on top. I decided to paint my middle finger and thumb a solid yellow color using Orly Lemonade. The flowery lace pattern is from MoYou London Suki plate which I have already shown you in a blog post.

Hello nail art lovers!

This post was meant to be a nail art idea for Easter but having in mind that happy Easter days are gone now, I guess it is just a colorful egg stamped nail design :) The look is fun and easy to get, it uses the makeup sponge and the stamping technique on two accent nails only.

First, pain your middle and ring fingers white and the others pink
My pink color is Models Own Pink Veneer, a lovely gel formula.
The white color I used is the usual suspect: Essie Blanc. It serves as a base for the colorful design which will be sponged on top.

Then, add other colors with a makeup sponge
Simply get a makeup sponge, add a few drops of different nail color on it and press it on your white base. Repeating this step twice is quite enough to get full coverage of the white color.

Then, add a stamped image in white
I used an Easter theme image as I planned this as an Easter manicure. This image is from the 2013 Holiday Collection from Bundle Monster BM-H10.

Last, add a glitter top coat
I like adding a top coat with some kind of effect over sponged designs as I find this smooths out the color and may conceal some harsh edges, if any. I added a thin layer of China Glaze Fairy Dust.

Last year’s Easter I used a similar approach for my Easter nail design, check it out if you enjoy the idea: http://nailcentric.net/easter-nails-konad/

Hello nail art lovers!

It’s almost Easter time and today’s post is all about candy colors, glitter and polka dots :)

These are gradient nails made with China Glaze What a Pansy and Rimmel Electric. I layered them over a white base with a makeup sponge. To make the gradient look a bit smoother, I added one coat of Essence Bejeweled. Tip! Adding a layer of a fine glitter/holo nail polish on your gradient helps to conceal some of the minor flaws we usually get when using the makeup sponge technique.

I added white polka dots to make your nail look more like colored Easter eggs. I  love how this Easter nail design turned out :)

Hello lovelies!

Today I have for you a glitter leopard accent nail art tutorial.

To get this look I painted my pinkie, fore finger and thumb in Zoya Normani and for the other fingers I used Essie Mamba. On top of Essie Mamba I added Zoya Bar as a glitter accent. Then I added leopard details to two fingers and finished off the whole look with my Essie Good to Go top coat.

I have already shared some thoughts on all nail polishes for this nail look. You can find more info by clicking on the product name above.

Hello nail art lovers!

Today I want to share with you my Valentine’s day nail art idea. It is non-pink, easy to make and involves some stamping :) So if you would like to opt for a nail design out of the traditiona pink/red/romantic vibe, I suggest the one below.

The textured gold color is OPI Honey Ryder which I love and have shown you in several designs so far. On the white finger I have Bundle Monster stamping image from their Holiday collection image plates. This heart is the uppermost image on the BM-H16 image plate. I have Zoya Bar in the black nail base to add a glitter gold accent. I think these few glitters are the ingredient which binds the whole design together.

Hello nail art lovers!

Today I have for you a flower nail design based on dots. I chose three of the colors from Zoya Naturel nail polish collection which I love. These are Zoya Normani (thumb), Zoya Brigitte (forefinger) and Zoya Chantal (pinkie). To get this nail design you need a dotting tool and some nail art studs/beads. On your middle and ring fingers paint 5 dots to form a flower. Then add micro beads in the center of each flower and finally ceal your design with a layer of top coat.

I added a few dots in between my flowers to complete the look. I love how these turned out and will be trying a variation of this design soon.

Hello lovelies!

Merry Christmas to all!

First, paint all your nails black
I chose black for the base color because it makes the best contrast between shiny and mat part of the nails. I guess you could try any color though.

Then, add a mat top coat

Then, run clear top coat through your nail tips
I added freehand French nail tip using a clear top coat. Do not worry if you do not get the perfect line, striping tape will go over your line later and conceal imperfections. You can make your shiny tips with your black base bu this way you risk getting some black onto your cuticles. Clear top coat is the safest option :)

Last, add gold striping tape
Add gold striping tape over the French tip base. Wait until your base is completely dry to avoid the risk of smudging it with the tape.
