Hello lovelies!

Today I have for you another stamping experiment I tried soon. I really like how precise and sharp the stamped snowflake images are but find them too harsh in the white-on-something option. So I figured I would enjoy the stamped snowflake more  in a jelly sandwich.

First, start with one jelly layer
The only jelly nail polish in my collection is a cobalt blue by LCN. Unfortunately, there is no number on name on the bottle, it must have faded away in time.

I think blue fits the wither theme so I started with a thin layer of the jelly formula to serve as my stamping base.

Then, add white snowflakes
My snowflake pattern is from the Bundle Monster Holiday image plates set I have reviewed earlier on the blog. The image is from plate BM-H02.

Last, add another layer of jelly formula
When you add the second jelly layer it builds up to develop the base color and at the same time it does not go too intense over your white image and stays transparent on it.

You can add your favorite top coat to increase design depth and shine.

Hello lovelies!

Today I have for you some winter gradient ombre nails. Evevry time I attempt gradient nail art and see the huge mess this technique involves I keep asking myself WHY? But then I kind of like the final result :)

Hello nail art lovers!

With September already around the corner, I have for you my last summer nail design. This sea foam and sand nail art is basically OPI Honey Ryder on three nails and China Glaze At Vase Value on my ring and middle fingers. I added some white on the latter using the spray water marble technique which basically the water marble technique but before you dip your nails into the water you should spray it with hair spray. This creates a sort of a net, aka your sea foam :)

I used a star and some pearls to embellish the look.

Hello nail art lovers!

Today I have for you a marine nail design in the most classical navy color combination. I decorated it using striping tape and some gold studs. I like that those type of designs ca be recreated in many different ways depending on your mood and imagination. For this particular one I painted some of my nails coral using Essie Peach Daiquiri, white using Essie Blanc and blue using L.A. Girls 3D Brilliant Blue. I randomly attached striping tape and added a contrasting color to achieve clean stripes. to finish off the look, I attached a few gold studs using a top coat as adhesive.

I have shown you Brilliant Blue before in artificial lighting. You can check out some swatches if you wish.

That was my navy nail art idea.

Hello nail art lovers!

I found that each time I lack inspiration for doing my nails, cute dots save the day! I have a light and dark blue dotty nail design for you today. I combined dots with the magnificent and shiny Essie No Place Like Chrome which you can see swatched below before you get a peek at the nail art :) I love it much for its maximum impact and true silver shine, I am also OK to pass by the fact that it tends to intensify nail bumps and lumps more than any other formula out there…

Blue dots nail design tutorial
So here is my dotty nail art I promised to show you. It basically is large dots accompanied by smaller dots. To get it, paint some of your nails a silver color and some of them baby blue. The base colors I used are Essie No Place Like Chrome for my silver and Flormar 423 for my blue. I must admit I am surprised how well they go together.

Dot it!
After your base is set ad dry, add large dots diagonally to your nail base. Then, add small dots into your large ones. On some nails I added another diagonal line of smaller dots only. This creates a slightly different pattern and makes the design more interesting. If you think, however that this way your nail art will turn out too busy, you can choose one of the patterns.

For my larger dots used a pin head and for my small dots I used my BPS dotting tool.

Hello lovelies!

I am seriously into the blue with nail polish and I am saying this in the most positive aspect possible :) When it comes to nail color I am rediscovering blue shades and today I want to show you two stunning beauties from L.A. Girls 3D Effects Holograph nail polish collection.

Colors
L.A. Girls 3D Effects Holograph nail polish collection features a total of eight shades and it was extremely hard for me to pick only the two I am showing you in this post. I got Brilliant blue and Teal Dimension.

L.A. Girl 3D Effects Holograph Brilliant Blue is a royal blue base color with little holographic parts added to it.

Formula and application
These colors are very easy to work with and application does not require any special attention. For my photos I have two coats of color and then one layer of top coat. Your first coat may appear a bit sheer but base color will build up perfectly with the second layer. L.A. Girld 3D Effects Holograph nail polishes really have a beautiful three dimensional effect but they dry smooth and glossy.

Holo particles catch light beautifully leaving you with a full impact effect in both artificial and sunlight.

Wear
With two coats of color and one layer of top coat these wear perfectly for three day. I had some worries that these would stain nails as most blue shades do but L.A. Girls 3D Effects polishes leave your nail base in great shape.

My Verdict
With these polishes stunning holo effect, beautiful colors and perfect layer I will definitely be getting more colors from this range! I love them!

Hello nail art lovers!

So proud to show you my first multi color stamped nail art, even if on a single finger :) Welcome back to my Stamping ABC post series where I learn and share about my newbie stamping nail art experience!

This is basically a bright green allover color with a multi color zebra print on the ring finger. Stay with me to learn how I did it and what I found.

China Glaze Grass is Lime Greener

Multi color zebra nail art with China Glaze Grass Is Lime Greener

China Glaze Grass Is Lime Greener
This nail design uses as a base color China Glaze Grass is Lime Greener from the City Flourish nail polish collection. I must say it surprised me a bit by how bright and vibrant it goes, almost neon like. It is a popping green creme with a semi matte finish. It is very difficult to apply it evenly so I added a top coat to smooth color out.

Multi color zebra print stamped nails
I chose to transfer my zebra  print to a bare nail because I am using regular nail polish and thought it would stick better to a matte surface. I was right and the print turned out pretty well on a layer of matte nail polish base.

I loved how my multi color zebra stamp nail design turned out so I recreated it on all nails.

I used the zebra print from my MoYou London The Pro 07 image plate which I have already shown on the blog. I must admit I am surprised how well stamps come out with these image plates with regular nail polish, I promise to write more on how my MoYou London plates work for me in a later post. I applied four nail colors on the zebra image, all from China Glaze City Flourish collection: China Glaze At Vase Value, China Glaze Grass is Lime Greener, China Glaze Metro Pollen-tin and China Glaze Petal to the Metal. When I scraped them with the scraper they mixed a bit, leaving me with the perfect multi color zebra print :)

So this was pretty much it. I am enjoying my newbie stamping nail art experience and will keep showing you my stamped designs.
