Today I have for you an idea how to recycle a gradient nail design + Born Pretty Store stamping image plates review. I am not sure which category this post should fall into so I am dividing it in sections, you can choose as per your interest :)
How to recycle gradient nail art tips
Gradient nail art can be tricky and time consuming to get. I rarely get the result I love so I am really unhappy when a good gradient wears out and I have to finally change it. I thought is would be a good idea to recycle it and wear for a few days more by stamping a pattern over it. Tip! Choose a pattern which will still allow you to see your gradient nail art below.
The picture below is my Sunset gradient ombre nail design with a pattern stamped on it in white.
Born Pretty Store stamping plates review
Born Pretty Store recently offered me a choice of two free nail art products and I picked these super cute image plates. These are Nail art stamp template QA91 and QA 86.
I had the chance to use them bot already, my gradient ombre nails in this post are recycled using Nail art stamp template QA91.
Both plates have these super cute stamp patterns and what I loved the most about them is that they are really usable and not just a pretty piece of metal. What I mean is that patterns are the right size to fit your nails even if they are a bit shorter.
The plates are easy to use and clean. They are not the usual round shape most image plates have which makes them very easy to hold. You will not need a special holder or any other support product to get the images transferred to your nails. A cotton tap soaked in nail polish remover is enough to clean your plates.
I found some issue to transfer a larger design to nails. For example my white stamp in this post did not turn 100% opaque and some areas are a bit patchy. I still love the result as this effect gives sort of a vintage feel to the final look.
