Hello nail art lovers!

With spring around the corner I am in a cheerful mood, cheerful enough to pull off a yellow lace nail design :)

To get this nail art simply add a few dots of color to bare nails and stamp a lace pattern in black on top. I decided to paint my middle finger and thumb a solid yellow color using Orly Lemonade. The flowery lace pattern is from MoYou London Suki plate which I have already shown you in a blog post.

Hello lovelies!

Today I have for you another stamping experiment I tried soon. I really like how precise and sharp the stamped snowflake images are but find them too harsh in the white-on-something option. So I figured I would enjoy the stamped snowflake more  in a jelly sandwich.

Snowflake winter nails in blue jelly tutorial

First, start with one jelly layer
The only jelly nail polish in my collection is a cobalt blue by LCN. Unfortunately, there is no number on name on the bottle, it must have faded away in time.

I think blue fits the wither theme so I started with a thin layer of the jelly formula to serve as my stamping base.

Then, add white snowflakes
My snowflake pattern is from the Bundle Monster Holiday image plates set I have reviewed earlier on the blog. The image is from plate BM-H02.

Last, add another layer of jelly formula
When you add the second jelly layer it builds up to develop the base color and at the same time it does not go too intense over your white image and stays transparent on it.

You can add your favorite top coat to increase design depth and shine.

Hello lovelies!

It has been a while since I have posted anything to match my Stamping ABC post series idea. The manicure of today is a French maicure stamped with blue flowers and then matified with a mat top coat formula.

First, start with French manicure
I used guiding tape to help me make the perfect French manicure tip. If you feel comfortable enough to do it free hand maybe all the tape fuss is not needed because you will be stamping over your French base.

Then, add a vintage stamping design in blue
I chose a vintage flowers design which reminds me of old curtains or tea pots decoration. I chose blue but I believe result will take wine red or gold too.

I used a pattern out of my MoYou London Suki image plate.

Last, finish off with mat top coat
I find adding a mat top coat makes the whole design look velvety and more vintage style. I guess you can still choose a glossy top coat but it may make your flower detail less visible to the eye because of the gloss.stealing the light :)

Hello lovelies!

Today I have another post for you from my Stamping ABC post series, dedicated to my experience with stamped nail designs and also to Halloween :)

For this nail design I used the bats image form my Bundle Monster Holiday image plate BM-H08. I stamped it over a base of Dance Legend Pulsar nail polish. For my ring finger, I stamped the same image using Pulsar over a black base.

I cannot explain how much I loved the effect and how disappointed I was when I could not photograph a thing out of it… Anyways, I am posting the final result and hope you will forgive my photographic skills this time…

Hello lovelies!

This post is a mixture of a tutorial, stamping nail art and a product review.

Bundle Monster 2013 Holiday Collection review
I am happy to share with you my love for this Bundle Monster stamping plate collection! I have loved it forever and when I was finally going to get my hands on it, Bundle Monster were so kind to offer is as blog sponsorship!

This is a collection of 25 image plates with a festive theme to all of them. I think this is a super versatile collection as you may pick images to match various Holidays and represent their spirit with nail art.

Browse the gallery below to find a detailed image as well as each plate’s individual code.

The plates have the usual round form. They are easy to use and especially to clean. Images  transfer easily and super clean. I have used the plates on several occasions with special stamping nail polish as well as with regular nail colors and have received the same beautiful effect every time.

You can get this set directly from the Bundle Monster web page.

Vintage multi color Balloon nails tutorial
Here is my first nail design with the Bundle Monster Holiday image plates. I chose BM-H 20 plate to transfer the balloon image on a white base.

I love this multi color vintage effect so much! You can recreate it by adding three colors of your choice on the image plate and then scrape the excess polish off. The scraper mixes a bit th color on the plate itself and when you transfer them the colors blend on your nail.

I added a matte top coat to help the images pop and got a ton of compliments :)

Thanks for reading, I hope you enjoyed!

Hello Lovelies!

Today I have for you an idea how to recycle a gradient nail design + Born Pretty Store stamping image plates review. I am not sure which category this post should fall into so I am dividing it in sections, you can choose as per your interest :)

How to recycle gradient nail art tips
Gradient nail art can be tricky and time consuming to get. I rarely get the result I love so I am really unhappy when a good gradient wears out and I have to finally change it. I thought is would be a good idea to recycle it and wear for a few days more by stamping a pattern over it. Tip! Choose a pattern which will still allow you to see your gradient nail art below.

The picture below is my Sunset gradient ombre nail design with a pattern stamped on it in white.

Born Pretty Store stamping plates review
Born Pretty Store recently offered me a choice of two free nail art products and I picked these super cute image plates. These are Nail art stamp template QA91 and QA 86.

I had the chance to use them bot already, my gradient ombre nails in this post are recycled using Nail art stamp template QA91.

The Plates
Both plates have these super cute stamp patterns and what I loved the most about them is that they are really usable and not just a pretty piece of metal. What I mean is that patterns are the right size to fit your nails even if they are a bit shorter.

Use
The plates are easy to use and clean. They are not the usual round shape most image plates have which makes them very easy to hold. You will not need a special holder or any other support product to get the images transferred to your nails. A cotton tap soaked in nail polish remover is enough to clean your plates.

I found some issue to transfer a larger design to nails. For example my white stamp in this post did not turn 100% opaque and some areas are a bit patchy. I still love the result as this effect gives sort of a vintage feel to the final look.
