Hello nail art lovers!

Today I am happy to share with you an embellished party manicure. It has pink and baby blue, it has stones, it is girly and perfect for going out and having some fun. I love how the various stones make this nail design somehow creatively messy, like a teenage girl room :)

How to make embellished girly nails?
This is a pretty straightforward nail art. Paint some of your nails pink and some of them blue. I chose pastel nail colors for the doll like vibe they bring and for how easy pastel colors are to combine together. Then add the stones :)

The key to this manicure are the stones you will use to embellish it. Chose different types and sizes to achieve the messy nail art look. You can use pearls, stones, little beads, you can play with colors and basically recycle your nail art stones leftovers. This is what I did with a bunch of embellishments I had not used in some previous nail designs but did not want to throw away.

It is not necessary to use some special glue to attach stones to your manicure. It is ok to add a tiny drop of clear nail polish and then press the embellishment onto your nail art. Tip! Nail art decorations with flat back will attach the easiest and will stay longer on your nails.

Hello lovelies!

I am so happy to share with you my second Liebster award nomination! I got it from the lovely Rachel from LiveLikeABeauty blog.

Liebster award #2

Liebster award #2

As you probably already know from my previous post or from other nominated bloggers, the Liebster award is an initiative designed to promote new and/or small blogs with less than 200 followers at Bloglovin’. I think it is a great idea and I am happy to receive the Liebster award nomination and pay it forward.

So how does it work?
1. You must link back to the person who nominated you and answer the 11 questions they asked you with their nomination.
2. You must pick 11 nominees yourself and tell them they have been nominated. You cannot pick the person who nominated you.
3. You must ask your nominees 11 questions of your choice

My answers to Rachel’s questions

1. What do you want to accomplish with your blog?
If I have to set goals to nailcentric.net, I would mention two main things. First, I want to attract people who care about nails and would love to see what I have for them. Then, I want to develop the nail+blogging hobby as it is my way to relax and keep that creative vibe into my everyday life.

2. How do you describe your clothing style?
My style is casual and relaxed. I am fond of the effortless chic :)

3. What would you like to have more than anything?
More than anything I want to have health for myself and those dearest to my heart.

4. Why did you start blogging?
The answer to this question will be similar to the one I gave the first question but it is true. I started blogging to have my place where I would share my passion for nail art with people who care.

5. How would you describe your blog?
The initial  idea was nailcentric.net is to be nail art blog, dedicated to fast and easy nail designs and manicure inspiration. So in answer to your question I would love to say ‘inspirational’ :)

6. How did you get the name for your blog?
I wanted the blog name to have something to do with the word “nail”. I came up with several ideas for a name and when I looked them up to see if the site names are free, I chose the one that was available and I still liked the most.

7. What is your favorite beauty product?
My all time favorite beauty product is my face moisturizer. It changed the way my skin looks for the better and makes everything look nice: from my mirror reflection to my makeup.

8. How would you describe your character?
This is a really tough one! I always prefer to let others judge for me just because when people ask me for my character I tend to get braggy :)

9. Who is your role model / idol?
My husband.

10. What is your talent?
I can paint nails :)

Hello nail art lovers!

My pastel  fever  is getting stronger and now I want all pastel beauties on my nails at the same time. I want to share with you my pastel candy nails with gold studs and how I made them. This design is very fast, very easy and also very cute, it made me smile every time I looked at my nails so it is a true mood booster :)

First, paint your nails in 5 different pastel colors.
Choose a different color for all nails. Use white on one of the fingers and colors you absolutely adore for the others. Tip! If some of your colors are brighter than a pastel should be, add a coat of sheer white on top. This will tone off the color and make it paler and softer. For my nails I did this for the coral and mint shades.

Then, embellish nails with dots and gold studs.
Add black dots to your white nails to make this nail design look even cuter and girly. Stick a gold stud to all nails. Tip! Make sure to use flat gold studs as they stick more easily to nail polish and wear longer. If your studs are flat, they will not even need a top coat to hold them in place and just pressing onto wet color will be perfectly enough for them to attach.

I was not happy with how all of my black dots turned out. Tip! If you want to conceal any of the black dots, put your stud on it so that it will embellish nail and conceal the flaws in the nail design.

Hello lovelies!

Lately I have been totally hooked to the half moon nail trend. I love it, it has tons of options for interpretation and I thought it would be fun to include the half moon detail into a wedding nail design. So I will share with you how my half moon bridal nail art turned out and tell you how I made it.

First, add the half moon.
This wedding nail art was meant to be delicate and I wanted colors to have a gradient line instead of a harsh one. So I painted the half moon part first, using an opaque soft pink shade and some guiding stripes. I may have mentioned this in my color block half moon nails tutorial, it is important to remove the stripes while nail polish is still wet. This way it will not leave a deep mark into your design.

Then, blend with a sheer pink.
After you have done your job with the guiding stripes and the half moon detail is ready, paint your nails with an sheer pink color. It will still be lighter where you have no polish on but will blend the half moon within the nail color and make it look more gentle and subtle. By this point you already have a feminine and classic manicure :)

Last, add a gold line.
I added a gold line where the two pinks meet to embellish the nails a little more and to give this wedding manicure some additional sparkle. I love how delicate this gold detail looks! If you are using a glitter gold like mine, it would be best to skip the top coat as it may steal away some of its shine.
